In Diablo 4, players will find a wealth of Shrines. Interacting with them can provide players with nice buffs throughout their journey. Diablo 4 Shrines work like in the previous games, but they have been significantly improved. So in this guide, we will discuss all the particular Shrines you can get in the game. Let's start!

In Diablo 4, you can find Shrines in all areas of the open world. They can also be found in instanced content such as dungeons. Unlike previous game versions, players must individually click on the Shrine to receive the effect, even if they are in a group.

At the time of writing, the game has eight types of Shrines. We will update this section if more Shrines are found. Here is a detailed description for each Shrine so you can use them wisely.

Artillery Shrine: Your attack speed is increased and all your attacks summon holy arrows.

Blastwave Shrine: You periodically explode, damaging enemies around you.

Channeling Shrine: Your skills cost no resources and have a reduced cooldown.

Conduit Shrine: You can electrocute and pass through enemies.

Greed Shrine: Enemies drop Diablo 4 gold when hit and you automatically pick up gold from further away.

Lethal Shrine: All of your skills deal more damage and are critical hits.

Protection Shrine: You are invulnerable and immune to controls.

Vampiric Shrine: Heal you when you damage a monster.

Every single Shrine has a notable boost, but the primary one is a 35% buff to the Movement Speed. Even though every Shrine lasts only 30 seconds, it provides valuable bonuses that significantly increase your battle effectiveness. However, it can be increased by an Affix on Boots, which allows for up to a 10% increase, making the maximum known duration of Shrine effects in Diablo 4 33 seconds.

In addition, sometimes a shrine can be cursed when you touch it. You won't get the effect. Instead, you'll get ambushed by monsters. In this new event don't worry. Though once you push back with resistance and clear the event, you'll be rewarded with not only the Shrine itself but also a radiant chest that includes lots of goodies, such as Items, Murmuring Obols and Gems.

That's it with Shrines in Diablo 4. If you have questions, please let us know in the comment below.
